Hello All
Boxing Day here. Temp should be around 31/89 today with about 70% humidity. Just right for some leftover ham and potato salad with a frosty beverage :D. Picture taken this morning from the top veranda attached
Only down side is rain in Melbourne which would delay the start of the Boxing Day test vs WI. Hopefully will clear.
Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday time and productive trawling of the Pendraken website. :D
Cheers

Well hope everyone had a good christmas and has a great 2016.
Went up to the Kapiti coast to the in-laws for boxing day catchup today ;)
The trip took an unexpected turn when I went to see a work mate who lives close by my in-laws place....ended up sitting on his deck with a few beers chatting for three hours about three of his families medal groups he had hanging on his wall that I have not seen before, including a "pip, squeak and wilfred" group with 1914 star....his great uncle was one lucky man surviving from 1914 right through to 1918. My work mate doesn't have much information so I'm going to attempt to assist him finding out some more. 8)
Grump, you show off....lol

LOL it's like anything else - familiarity breeds ho-hum unless on special occasions when you can step back and add up pros and cons. Actually I was more interested in FKs picture of Urbino. I just realised it's been over 25 years since I did a leisurely tour around that part of the world through Urbino to Siena and watched the Palio :-< :-<.

Stunning view! Thanks for posting - already miss the green here!
Merry Christmas everybody! I've not been on the Forum much over the festive period this year, taking a couple of days off to spend with the family instead, but I've been keeping an eye on everything... ;)
