I was just wondering how far back some of our customers go, so what was your first ever Pendraken figure, when/where did you get it and do you still have it?
binned it - too small to paint
now I only buy 10mm :)
Not sure of the year but think it was 2004-ish?
Wasn't technically a first figure - more like a first few hundred: got a couple of ECW army packs & built this lot: http://nikharwood.pbworks.com/ECWarmaster
Not looked back since 8)
And they definitely still get a run-out: latest here of course: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=389.0
I think it would have been 2005, mail order.
Could have been these Orcs

Or these knights (LHS)

Some Bill men I got at the same time are still sat in their little bag, all shiny and unloved.
Pretty sure some of the figures I painted this week were from my first order or two !! http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1327.0 (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1327.0)
2008 - Aliens and Colonial Marines for FWC.
Still have them and game with them regularly. Will definately buy some 'singles' of these if and when ;) the sci-fi dungeon pack gets done!
Boer War British and Boers for a Colenzo project that never quite got off the ground.
Back in 2006-ish i think. Still they made it on the table recently as Victorian Science Fiction britis...
Took a run at a medieval project about 2004 or so; just did not gel for me and traded them off later, but liked the concept. The first Pendrakens that hit the table painted were WWII figures perhaps about 2006 or 7?
The way I have been churning out the painted SYW figures has, frankly, surprised me.
About 2005 I think, bought some of this lot

still playing with them. :D

when did you start the Aliens It wasnt long after you produced them I bought a whole hod, I remember bringing my ALiens Role play book into a convention to show someone (cant remember who) the different varients of the APC (Saddo that I am). SO thats when I bought them. I Also bought a pile of wars of the roses figures in about 1998/99 we think. I was doing 15th century re-enactment about then and remember playing a game on a picnic table at Bosworth with a mate when everyone else went into the beer tent. see dedication to my hobby :D
Don't really remember when, 4 or 5 years ago, something like that. Bought a Polish army pack at Claymore and supplemented it, so a few figures aren't Pd's.

I caught the 10mm bug about 10-12 years ago and built 2 huge ACW armies made up from old Pendraken, new Pendraken , Irregular, chariot and any other 10mm ACW figures I could get my hands on (twas a tundra out there at the time) Then made a few 17th C fantasy armies then stupidly have moved on to Napoleonic Saxon (7th Corps 1812) French and now Russian armies (with bags and bags of AWI waiting patiently on the shelf!!!!!)
Aye its a bad addiction, steer friends and family away from it!!
:P
2003 bought French 1812, German WW2 and Brit WW2 army packs cannot remember if it was the Nap or WW2 stuff first. Sold off most of the Brit stuff but still have the rest.
Good to see most people still have their first figures! I wonder if there's anyone who purchased from us right back in 1992?!
Hi
Wars of the roses in about 95-96 so it`s been a while.
Jim
Er Vietnam figures. Pretty much the range. I think they're flying geese or someone like that. Also the original SCW range.
Still have them all and are still fighting battles in the jungle :D
I believe it was at salute so must have been around '92-93 ish :-\
Always loved 10mm, just taken a while to convince my mates to dive on in :-$

Wild Geese! That must be the oldest purchase so far!
It was some Saxon Fyrd. I had already bought rather large amounts of Saxons, Vikings, and Normans from M******r M*****m before I found out that the Pendraken figures were better proportioned and cheaper...
Can't remember for certain, but probably mid 1990s, I picked up some of the Aliens and troopers, followed by the Bugs a couple of months after the first came out.

I'll have to ask Dave when the Alien Creatures first appeared.

Fair enough, what's actually going on there then? I'm not a religious person myself.
Greetings
My first Pendraken were the ELM late mediaeval range - many years ago.

We were consecrating St Edward the Martyr Church and monastery in Brookwood, Surrey with four Bishops; which we had rebuilt over the last 3 years and, being Russian/Greek Orthodox, it took a very long time...
