Four companies of High Elves organized and ready for priming. Having had to do grown up stuff as well, trimming sorting and laying out the figures has taken me nearly all day. :(
Excellent, I look forward to seeing how you paint your elves.
Beautiful ordered rank and file units as befitting the highly disciplined elven warriors. Can't wait to see them painted. :D

Same here.

Still deciding how to paint them to be honest. This is my first real foray in both fantasy and 10mm.
Fix them in place, undercoat and then paint them? Or paint them rank by rank before fixing them in place and then doing the basing?
How do you guys do yours? :)
I either fix to base, undercoat, paint, ink, highlight.
Or, if it's a big unit, half on bases, half on 'Kosta-fortune-coffee' wooden stirrers.
For loose order troops I tend to base them, then paint.
For stuff that will be more closely ranked, then on painting sticks (large lolly sticks) get them mostly painted. I then base, and touch up any bits that have been missed, which often become more obvious when you are viewing the figures from a different angle.
I do the same as Fred.
Yep, same method as Fred here too.
Sticks, then base.

Sticks then base it is!
Hopefully I'll get started tomorrow after work :D
