Another Thafety Tip From Techno.
When in a complete ruthth to do fine lineth on a model, uthing a thalpel.....Whatever you do, use thpit on the green thuff, rather than licking the tharp thide of the thacpel blade and dragging that over the putty.
I are a thilly thod.
Cheerth - Phil. (It's stopped bleeding now.)
Well. What can I thay?
X_X X_X X_X
;D :P
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee thanks for that image and mouth feel.
I can feel my tongue curling as we speak!
Or is that "speth"?!
Thankth THO much for your thympathy.
(He thed tharcastically.)
I'm tho glad Mithith Techno wath out, otherwise I'd have got a thmack for being tho thupid. X_X
Cheerth - Phil
I'm speechless... (rather like Techno :D)
TECHNO!!! Gah!
Yikes! And it's not like you can stick a plaster on it.
As for a smack from Mrs Techno, are your sure she doesn't read the forums or that someone here doesn't have her mobile number? I'd be prepared regardless.
- Neil.
Ouch!!
Techno speak with forked tongue! ;)
Look on the bright side, at least tongues heal fairly quickly.
Commiserations ... though whether for the tongue or for congenital idiocy I'm not sure :D :D :D
i got just the thing for you to cure your tongue:

That has got to be one of the spectacular wargames 'fails' of all time! And I thought slicing through the top of my finger using a craft knife and a plastic ruler was stupid enough.
Commiserations and chuckles in equal numbers.
I'm safe.
Mrs T only ever looks at horsey sites, Neil.....And our mobile phones only have one use......To phone the AA, if we have a problem with either of the vehicles.
'I'.....Congenital idiocy is definitely the answer there, though my dear old Mum & Dad were no way near as eccentric as yours truly.
Peter....Salt is what I used......I'm hoping I won't even notice it tomorrow.
Sub....Got the T-shirt ! (But not for a long while.)
Cheers - The Idiot.
Apologies for the language, but who the **** is that stupid? No one can be that idiotic. Not even Techno.
Some greenstuff to fill the cut maybe?
Cheers,
Rob

Sadly...when I'm
really rushing to get things done....Mr Brain just disengages.
I still can't understand how even
I managed to do something that stupid.
Cheers - Phil (I won't do it again....Promise.)
This is all perfectly horrible, and I hope you recover quickly.
But on a side note, why did Leon EVER issue with the four digit version of this?

You silly so and so.
Hope you're avoiding salty food!

It's for decimals.
So far we are 00,47 days without an accident. We almost reached 10,00 once, honest.

Perhaps Leon issued it because he is an optimist?
Cheers

We only need a 2nd digit if we use hours
How's the tongue this morning, Phil?

Very thightly thore......But thatth all.
Thankth for athking. ;)
It was a
tiny cut, in truth. As the Black Knight (?) in Monty P and the Holy Grail said, "It's only a scratch".
Teach me to try and do things too fast. X_X :-[.......and not concentrate on which piece of kit I'm working with.
Cheers - Phil
I promise this thread did not make me snigger AT ALL
Just =O =O =O =O =O =O =O =O =O =O

Perhaps we need to replace "days" with seconds - them we MIGHT reach 4 figures

Maybe we should just redefine 'the last accident'...? That would save a lot of trouble and the numbers would be looking good!
If we define 'the last accident' as 'incidents wherein users of this site suffer deliberate deadly attacks from 10mm tin soldiers while these same 10mm tin soldiers are not being handled by human beings' then we might get there...eventually... :-\

Rob
God help us if the phone rings when Techno's ironing.

=D> =D> =D>
The phone never seems to make me jump, when it rings, even when I'm concentrating on the wee men. :D......and I've not ironed anything for about 40 years.
However......If Mrs T calls from the bottom of the stairs, and I'm really concentrating on the putty.......THAT can make me jump out of my skin.
I've now taken to 'breathing' (huffing ?) on the modeling tools, rather than licking them. :D
Cheers - Phil
Creating new figures more and more seems like a proces of birth... :o
I don't think I want to know all the details really... :-&
Cheers,
Rob :D
I've just been watching a bit of "Professional Masterchef".
(Well....Mrs T likes this particular show.) X_X
Watching the chefs chop vegetables so finely and so sodding fast makes me wince.
Are you telling me that THEY never cut themselves ?
Cheers - Phil

I bet they don't lick their knives though.
That's all you know, sonny. ;)
Those bits get edited out.
And just WHY do you think the cooked meat looks so pink 'on camera'.
It's because the chefs lick the finished product.
Cheers - One Who Knows. ;)
If a chef offers you some tongue, always refuse.
[I've got a bad feeling about this. Moderators - stand by!]
btw: I see your tongue's better now, Phil (going by the spelling).
Well, depends on what they mean...
