I would like to apologise if my recent post has caused offence. That was certainly not my intention. I hope that this is not the case but if it is then I once again apologise for that.
That's the spirit, my compliments!
Cheers,
Rob
Good to see amicable responses from both of you.
👍
Well done gentlemen.

Sorry, I am confused here - are the Rob who is 'Ace of Spades' and the Rob who is 'Rob' - the same person? If not, I hope the Rob who is 'Rob' will see fit to respond in the same generous spirit as Hwiccee, as I think some of his posts were less than polite. I am aware how easy it is to create false impressions with one's posts, I have done it myself, but it always helps when both sides clear the air.

Hear Hear, well said.
Just to avoid any misunderstandings; I am not 'the Rob' involved in the original discussion!
I am just 'another Rob' who thinks apologizing is a mature way of solving conflicts.
Apologies for any misunderstandings! ;)
Cheers,
Rob
Sorry about the Ace! ;)
No problem what so ever Lemmey; I actually expected the confusion typing my first reply...
Cheers,
Rob
Apologies to all for having to put up with this rubbish. Its not my intention to turn this forum into a version of those mainly US based forums where personal attacks are common currency.
I will have more to say on this subject, but at the moment I am coming to the end of a 4 month recovery period. I had a major op in July and at the moment I am interviewing for a new job, trying to get back to some sort of normality. Things are a bit manic and I want to concentrate on the jobhunting at the moment. Had an interview yesterday and I was informed a few minutes ago that I have a second interview next week. I have another interview tomorrow with a different company and hopefully that will go well also.
Cheers, (one of the many) Rob(s) :) :)
Very best of luck, Rob. :)
Cheers - Phil
Good luck Rob!

Good luck with the interviews Rob
Apologies from both appreciated
Good luck Rob!
Cheers,
Rob (the other one...) :D
Great news Rob, good luck sir.
I could feel the heaviness of that thread which is why I quickly vacated it. Too much posturing and pushing around for my liking.
It is good that Hwiccee apologized, but that thread was building up to an explosion. As a regular at TMP I have learned to feel it when that happens. Thank you to the administrators for acting swiftly and efficiently.
Rob good luck.
Not the best thread that we've had, but thankfully a rarity on this forum. Nice to know that we are all mature enough to apologise. I wanted to put my two penn'th in but like KTravlos, quickly moved away.
Good luck Rob with round 2 of the interview.
I have a new job and start the 4th Jan 2016. 8)
I count myself lucky as I had only one week looking, which resulted in two interviews. The second interviewing company offered me the role before I got to the first interviewing companies second interview (if that makes any sense at all ???). I didn't think I would be successful so quickly. I originally thought I would start looking at the end of November, do a couple of practice interviews in December and start looking seriously in January. However, I don't think it's me that's brilliant I think its down to the surging economy, people in my line are starting to become more scarce. ;)
Thanks very much to all those who wished me luck. :)
May I wish every one a very happy and enjoyable Christmas. <:-P :D <:-P ;D
Cheers, Rob :) :)
And you, Rob.
Great news !....Really pleased for you. :)
Cheers - Phil
