I set about my spares boxes and box of useful 'sh*t' that has been cluttering my wargames cupboard and have come up with some Monuments to the Gods :)
A Dwarves King on a spare base plinth mounted on a tyre dustcaps.
A Taurian God mounted similarly on ascending plinths of various shapes accompanied by a powerful orb (made out of a sewing pin with a coloured bauble) on top of a tyre dust cap
A Human god, again on a spare mdf base atop a tyre dust cap. The figure is a spare Post Romano Britain. I have a PR army that I bought for Dux Britannarium which I'm intending to use as the basis for a Dragon men Army.
Finally I made a generic monument using a spare GW square base and the excellent monument from Supreme Little Ness designs.
As if that wasn't enough I also set about basing a Dwarves Forge complete with water trough and coal wagon set in a yard with stacks of timber made out of minibus lolly pops.
To top off an afternoons work I also started on a base for a walled cottage and outbuilding.
I have a coaching inn to base but have run out of bases!
I will post photos when these are done.
Looking forward to seeing these Nosher.
Good plan Nosher! ;)
Look forward to seeing these.
These sound good, we're working on some extra Fantasy terrain at the moment as well.
Finished articles - sorry about the poor pictures. Suns not out today!
