I do not wish to seem pedantic, although if I do it's because I have recently graduated with an MA in Ancient History so this perhaps what I am most pedantic about.

The figures look very similar in pose to the Rapier ones, I am even more tempted to move on to the Late Bronze Age if I ever get my Sumerians finished, your Late Helladic/ Mycenaean army is an inspiration ... even if the figures are just a tad bigger than I'd be planning on.

Bronze age is one of my favourites periods to wargame. My first two armies in 10mm were Egiptians and hittites. I have an assirian army waiting for painting for years and recently I bought a Trojan wars army.
I always wanted to do a campaing about the crisis of the XII century. But always had been distracted with fantasy, medieval, classical, and sci fi :P (Lack of players and figures are also an important factor)
Anyway, talking about XII century, any idea of how to make an "european" army. Which figures do you use for an Early La Tene or Atlantic bronze cultures ? :-\

If you are looking for opponents for the Mycenaeans it would be Early Hallstatt or proto-Illyrians rather than the La Tene culture, which is Iron Age.
The Hallstatt culture isn't one I know huge amounts about, there again I doubt many people do so the advantage of such a force is that if you fudge things, or get them entirely wrong, almost no one will know! :)
Infantry would be similar to the later classical Celts. Shields would seem to be round or oval rather than the later rounded rectangle ones, helmets are sometimes conical, the bronze swords are shorter than the later slashing iron swords. Armour would be rare and would be solid cuirasses rather than chain.
The Warrior of Hirschlanden statue suggests to me that there were some naked warriors similar to the later gaesatae.
Cavalry are likely to have been used for scouting, skirmishing and pursuing broken enemies rather than charges.
Modelling the chariots would be a problem as the Hallstatt ones seem to have been lightweight four-wheeled carts rather than what we think of as chariots.
As I say, my own knowledge of these armies is patchy at best ... xccam, time to let your "pedantry" shine thorough?
