Title: Connection Problems - Pendraken Forum Site
Post by: Ithoriel on 03 December 2015, 08:05:24 PM
I've been getting this message intermittently for a couple of weeks now. Not aware of problems with any other sites. Anyone else getting the same?

"Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."

Occasionally I get a message "S*d Off FSN".

That's Techno for you.

Apart from that, no problems.

No problems in SW Wales.

Have had 'Server Busy' on rare occasions.... But not for the past three months, or so.

(S*d Off, Nobby !  ;))

That's an internal server error, so it's not down to the user, their location or their isp. I see it intermittently on a server I run which uses the same version of the forums software. if it happens again, if you can make a note of the date and time, Pendraken's web guy might find something in the logs.

I had it last night but refreshed the page and it worked. Just happens sometimes but not for a while.
