On Sunday I played in my local wargames club's tournament for the Napoleonic
Blucher rules using 6mm and 10mm figures (others had 10mm figures with them, though I think I was the only one to play with them). There was turnout of 14 players (7 French, and 7 Allies, including the Ottomans) and a lot of fun was had by everyone involved.
Before yesterday I had played a single game of
Blucher so the creditable result of 3rd out of the 7 French players (and I think top 5 overall?) was a good result for me. In terms of game point scores I lost game 1 (14-16) won game 2 (24-6) and won game 3 (21-9) and so ended with 59 out of a possible 90 points.
The battlefield set up rules and range of opposing armies meant all the games were really different and it was a great experience, a write up of the tournament from my perspective, and some photos of other games, can be found here on my blog (http://xccamminiatures.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/volley-at-farnborough-after-action.html).

My French take on some Peninsula British in Game 3
Lance is planning to run a similar tournament with
Blucher in February which I shall look forwards to, and I'd suggest anyone nearby to consider looking in to!
Interesting shots for me as I am thinking of re-basing. Thanks
