I've been interested in miniatures and RP for more than 20 years. Since the beginnig of this year i started collecting and
painting 10mm fantasy miniatures.

Welcome to the forum, I was posted to Munster in the 17/21 Lancers from 1983 to 1991- great place, lots of good times and memories, I met my wife in Hamm on a daytrip out ( ok nightmares too)
Swinton Barracks - all gone now! or full of Ruskie?

They are almost all gone by now! The former barrack places have become commercial parks or residential areas.
There are still barracks near Roxel / Gievenbeck and Gremendorf. But it is only a question of time they will be closed too.
Though it may sound weird, but i am somehow missing seeing a tank from time to time.
Münster has changed a lot during the last years.
To Hamm i am driving to work for the next 9 months.

As it happens im serving with the Yorkshire Regiment based in Gievenbeck, Munster. Its a great place, though not much in the way of gaming...... :'(
