Starting off two different undercoats, black and Ogre flesh. Cut the tail of the flying lizard to make it more Pteradonesque :D

Starting to get colours on,  I am using 3 colours for the bearers skin, basically Foundry Bay brown a, b and c.

A close up of the vehicles in production

getting there with the bearers, all done except highlights on the tunics and packs, you cant really see the flesh that well on the photo.

another shot of the bearers
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc31/Maenoferren/DSCF2180.jpg the majority are in plain tunics. Sonme however are in bright coloured tunics, 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow and 2 green. these allow the players to see which bearers belong to them.

The mushrooms are from some night goblin sprues, which I found when I was looking for something else. I am writing rules for them as we speak, well obviously not right now as I am typing this  :D
Cheers

Bollox  >:(  I decided to super glue my bearers to their bit of stick, i generally use some cheap crappy stuff, just about better than spit, but couldnt find it. so I, in my infinite wisdom decided to use gorilla glue superglue and guess what. It has done what it says - sticks anything! bum, bum, bum! :'( :'( :'( What makes it worse I cant find my side cutters :'( :'( :'(

As Lentulus had funky music at the start of his thread I feel I now need to add appropriate sound effects to my darkest Africa thread  :D You might want to turn your speakers down a bit  :o

Actually in terms of music this might be a bit more appropriate :)
;D ;D ;D

Cheers Nosher.
I am now back from GLasgow and I achieved... Nowt, nothing, in fact bugger all, Carried all that paint, and acheved nothing because basically I couldnt be bothered to basecoat 60 figures with a brush, so am now ay behind :-[. I Also found out that you cant get ogre flesh spray cans any more which is a bummer, because I wanted some, so instead I got some army painter desert yellow  :D.
MUst, must, must do some tomorrow night :(

Masai nearly finished only the shields to do, now to do a basic 4 shield pattern or go the whole hog and do thirty different ones :-\
Askari started too. But tonight  we were gaming tonight. Lord Percival Fanhard, Marway Beauregard the original two were joined by a Yank  and were off saving Victorian London. 4 weeks of gaming and until tonight we fired 2 shots, one each, tonight when joined by our esteemed American colleague we let rip with every weapon possible, me running through a house a colt in each hand and I actually had to reload both of them. The American Chappy borrowed one of my matched Purdy shotguns and then snapped the stock  whilst using it as a club, I ask you... why he couldnt have used a poker or a table leg!(dammned colonial!) Altogether a lot of giggles all round  :D

Askari painted now:

So far we have finished, but not based properly:
30 bearers
30 Askari
3 rhino
3 vehicles
12 smaller dionosaurs
6 hunters
one giant, huge, nay massive Brachosaur  :D
nearly finished: 2 smilodon, 5 velociraptors
Unde rcoated
14 other dinosaurs
6 feet of river :D

My favourite dinosaur in 10mm with a bearer between its legs  :D THis thing just shows how big dinosaurs were
(http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc31/Maenoferren/IMG00371.jpg)
THis dinosaur featured in the latest hunt, where Sir Sydney Roughdiamond first lit a match for his cigar  on the beasts leg as it strolled past and then darted between because he has the overconfident hindrance

How quick are you thinking of 'M' ?
'Packs' are pretty straightforward and quick to do on an individual model basis, ...(Can certainly help on that if you want.)....How many have you got to do ?
Which sort of putties have you got to use ?

Cheers - Phil.
