Anyone seen this podcast? Some good stuff including "Omar Bradley", "Sd Kfz 251", "USS Neosho"
Thanks for the heads-up, Nobby. :)
Cheers - Phil
Thanks for the mention!
From December I plan on attempting to release two podcast's a month. I appreciate all the WW2 topics I cover might not be up everyone's street so hopefully the increased output will mean there is something for everyone.
Please spread the word about the podcast, you can follow me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ww2podcast/ (https://www.facebook.com/ww2podcast/)
I'm in currently in the process of selling up and moving back the North East (about 10 miles south of Middlesborough). IF it happens before the end of November I'll come along to Battleground and perhaps say hello to a few of you.
FYI I play 15mm Blackpowder and am embarking on 20mm WWII for Chain of Command (though painting has been halted by packing up everything in anticipation of moving and spending all my spare time on the podcast).
All the best,
Angus
Hello and welcome
See your trick cyclist now, anyone on here needs a certificate to prove their sanity....

Hang on ... WWII podcast going to Middles-Borough. Pendraken in Middles-Borough ...
Wow!
That"s two interesting things about Middles-Borough!
Welcome Mr Podcast. Do you do requests? If so, could you cover the attempt to assassinate Doenitz by dressing a stoker from Arbroath as a schoolgirl and parachuting him into the uboat pens in Norway from a submarine disguised as a sperm whale? I may have got a few of the details wrong.

I heard it was a communist disguised as a smokie from Arbroath, or was that just a red herring?
I maybe moving near Middlesborough, but I'll be still south of the border in North Yorkshire... ;)
And yes I'm open to suggestions, but that is on the proviso I can find an expert to talk on the topic.
I've just noticed I'm being ambushed by the war in the air, I need to bring things back down to earth and look at some "kit" and vehicles.
Finally for those in the Middlesborough area, the chap I talked to in the first episode who owns the Halftrack. He lives in Darlington!
Angus
You could always get rid of the 20mm CoC and replace with lovely, lovely Pendraken 10mm? Small but perfectly formed.
I spent weeks wringing my hands over the 20mm or 28mm WWII... But I think you've talked me into some 10mm WW1...
I'll get moved back to gods own county and pick some up!
Angus
Welcome to the Forum Angus, good to have you onboard! 10 miles south would have me guessing Stokesley, Great Ayton, Guisborough or thereabouts?

Scotland?
Definitely go 10mm. For low level WWII, it can't be beaten.
I might have been a bit out with my milage... We've had an offer accepted on a house in Over Silton, just off the A19. Fingers crossed it all goes though, house buying can be tedious...
Angus
Good luck with it! ;)

That's not too bad, only half hour down the A19 from us then. Really nice part of the world that as well, we go down to Sutton Bank every now and then.
WWII Podcast - provider of a huge range of WWII 10mm goodliness - 30 mins from each other.
Am I the only one thinking Leon could be a hit on a podcast?

Anyway, Mr Techno, with your latest water problems, are you still paddling about?
If so, do you feel some affinity with the oft-neglected duck?

I've seen your picture Phil. Do you know how to use a hairdryer? :d
For certain jobs, like drying a light switch, or quickly drying an undercoat on a figure.....'Course I do. =)
What else am I supposed to use a hairdryer for ? :D
Cheers - Phil
Removing moisture from rabbit like creatures?
We don't get hares over here. ;)
