I'll try it out, haven't varnished him yet so have to get him back on the painting table anyway!

Awww! He's smiling! That's so cuuuuute!

Seriously though, that's some nice paintwork. What did you do on the skin?

Awesome :)

I have the same mini in a remarkably similar colour scheme - he's a nice piece of kit and nicely painted there :)

Just some kids craft brown basecoat from the dollarstore drybrushed with a levis tester tube colour. 'suede' was the one i think.

And he uses his cuteness as a weapon!

He's also fun to encounter in the d&d adventure system games. When you attack you roll a d20, and the result determines the eye he shoots from.

He got anti-magic, fire, exhaustion, poison and a telekinetic ray.

= nice little bossmonster with 17 ac! (wich is higher than all the heroes from the wrath of ashardalon game!)

I'm thinking if i should change the pupils on the eyestalks to narrow lines instead of dots though, think that will look better:

Nice idea :)

I don't if you're hand is steady enough, but some blood shot veins would be good in the eyes...

I must dig my mini out. I think it might actually give my players pause for thought instead of "I hit it with my axe" ;)

Look me in the eye and say that like you mean it ;)
