Here is the list:

'Amateurs to Arms: A Military History of the War of 1812' - John R Elting. 353 pages
'The Incredible War of 182: A Military History' - J. Mackay Hitsman. 390 pages
'The War of 1812: A Forgotten Conflict' - Donald R. Hickey. 450 pages

All these I would be happy to sell at £15 each plus postage

Ospreys: 'The War of 1812' , 'The United States Army 1812-1815' and 'British Forces in North America 1793-1815'.  Say £5 each + post

'The War of 1812: A Wargamers Guide Parts 1 & 2: £5 for the pair + postage.

Let me know if you're interested in any of them

Well, I think the Americans would prefer "A series of unpleasant events we would sooner forget followed by the battle of New Orleans"; "The War for the Defense of Civilization in North America" was never going to take off; "The War Of Yankee Aggression" is otherwise spoken for while the probably more realistic "Everyone Else Was In The Napoleonic Wars so We Wanted In Too" possibly trivializes American motives.

What *do* Russian historians call their 1812 go at Boney?

The Patriotic War of 1812

So the "Great Patriotic War" was part of a traditional (or at least "established") nomenclature?  Neat.
