Thanks for a nice review of the game. I think I prefer the sound of BBB as somehow Blucher just doesn't seem to grab me as a concept. However I do like the idea of not knowing how much movement etc you can make with your units each turn.

My own personal opinion is that from all the grand tactical rules i have tried, Altar of Freedom has the best CnC system. However its not easy to add it to other systems because of the key role played by Commander personalities in it. For historicals you need to decide what personalities every Corps commander had in that battle. For  pick up games, you could probably create a points system or some other way to assign them.
