Title: Napoleonic Nassau released!
Post by: Leon on 31 October 2015, 03:04:10 AM
We're continuing the expansion of our Napoleonic ranges this month, with the arrival of the Nassau contingent!  This little range can of course be used on both sides of the period, serving with the French in the Peninsular before switching allegiance after Leipzig in 1813 and becoming part of Wellington's army.

Napoleonics
Nassau - http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Napoleonic-c14/Nassau-sc336/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Napoleonic-c14/Nassau-sc336/)
NNA1   Line infantry / Fusiliers (30)   £4.50
NNA2   Light infantry / Voltigeur (16)   £2.50
NNA3   Light infantry / Grenadier (16)   £2.50
NNA4   Foot command (30)   £4.50
NNA5   Mounted Officers (5)   £1.50

We'll be looking at putting together a smaller army pack for these as well, more details to come on that.  Next up for the Naps will be the Prussians, which are going into master moulds in the next fortnight and should be released before the end of the year hopefully.  After that we'll be heading back to the French to fill in some gaps.

So, time for some pics:

Away from the Naps, we've got a couple of 20th C. releases coming over this weekend, followed by a new Warband range in the next couple of weeks!

Fringed epaulettes on both the voltigeurs and grenadiers.

Leon, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to package the command in 16 figure bags as there were only 8 battalions in the entire Nassau presence at Waterloo, and the contingent sent to Spain for the French was 2 battalions.

Cheers, Rob  :)

We possibly could have done, but they've already been moulded now and we've filled a mould with them...   :-[
