Title: The Stuarts in Exile - BBC4 programme
Post by: Steve J on 27 October 2015, 08:30:16 PM
First shown in Scotland, on BBC4 tonight is the first of two programmes on the Stuarts and their attempts to reclaim the crown from the Hanoverian monarch. Tonights is about the 1715 rising and I'm hoping next week is about the '45.

Mollers I really don't think you'll like it. Some interesting bits and a few 'I didn't know that' moments but by and large its 'History Lite'.

I hope it's worth watching Cameronian. I'll certainly give it a go as it's a period I don't know much about.

Saw five minutes of it, was just about getting interested when Ms. Toxic decided it was boring and the channel changed ;)

There didn't look a lot of substance, but some nice voice overs and lingering set up shots...
