Title: Fake Victorian Regiment Names
Post by: sdennan on 26 October 2015, 12:44:08 AM
Hi Guys

I am planning the groups Xmas get together for this year and I think we are due for a game of Pig  Tickler. (It's a game from Eureka's Pax Limpopo world)

I was hoping the more imaginative of you could suggest some fake but plausible names for two British Unicycle Lancer regiments (nothing too rude obviously as we are gentlemen first, officers second). One wears Pith Helmets the other Czapka. I am going to use the names on Mess invitations to invitees. I will get regimental badges designed by someone on Fiverr.

Thanks in advance

Simon

14th Cads and Bounders (The Cherry Takers)
104th Boil and Verruca Foot (Obviously from Mysore)
27th Fig and Date Fuzileers (A regular unit)
The Burnme and Mycut Fencibles (Techno's Own)
The Noel Coward Auxiliaries (Dear, dear boys)
Princess Derek's Own
The Marine Light Horse Artillery (which I think is real)
Cocos and Cheekos Ballon Animal Company (full of hot air, the lot of 'em)

Then there's the RN unit named after a famous sailor that used only one type of bike, and were famous for their ability to stand together - the "Raleigh Raleigh Rally"

Then there's got to be the Victoria's favourite Royal Auxiliary Corps Establishment - "Queen's No1 - Bicycle RACE"

My best effort at this late hour:
Yorkshire Yunicycle Yeomanry (East Riding).

Many better suggestions than that above. I like Ithoriel's BLIMPS.
