I do remember the ancient Runequest RPG which featured a Duck character.
I had to try one of these and thought it was a good idea right up to the
moment when my character sheet was grafitied with a roast duck...

I never lived that one down.

Sorry, not the Aztecs - http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,12913.msg180054.html#msg180054 (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,12913.msg180054.html#msg180054) :D

Proto-Viking Bronze Age barbarian Ducks ALWAYS gets my vote.

We should be starting a Heroquest game come the new year, but sadly we've ended up vanilla Orlanthi, I couldn't persuade the group to be THUNDER DUCKS! They all want to suck up to the Lunars. Losers.

I really worry about you lot, sometimes.  ;)

I notice that Leon has had the decency not to put 'votes added' anywhere.  :D

Remind me......

Aztecs occasionally threw away their eagle 'head gear' and went for a duck motif instead, didn't they ?
I think those will look quite zippy.

Stop it, Will !

There really WERE Tlaxcalan champions in duck helmets! I've just read about 'em in Ian Heath's book on the American wars. We have a common interest here!

I'm going to have to dig through my White Dwarf collection to find the image of a duck smashing the skull of a Broo titled "Goatbusters!" aren't I?

What you get up to in the wee small hours of Saturday morning are you're own affair Ian but Mezzo-American duck sounds certain to upset the digestion. Is it similar to KFC?
Title: Re: Duck Men

No, it's the higher pitched range than the mezzo-soprano, just before the bigga-mezzo things my own singing operates in ;)

Have my votes for the ducks.

Maybe a whole range is excesive. For me one duck reference will be OK as an adition to Beestmen/Taurons list.

I would suggest that have two poses, one with bow and the other with sword.

People who want missile units and sword unit will buy 2 references and get the two split units.

People who only want a unit with concept DUCKMEN, then they mix all the figures.

Duckmen can act as little skirmshers (goblin role in Orc n goblin list) but for Taurions.

Assuming that this line will get made, does anyone know of a manufacturer of 15mm chicken woman maids?

Also how hard would it be to do an alternate model with fangs?

Why is it that it is?

So long as there's a tall, thin stork and a short chubby parrakeet in berets to go with them, I'm sold.

Well, yes, but mainly no. Anyway, it is your fault, it is all your fault, it is ALWAYS your fault!
