I have a couple of questions regarding the current 8th Army range. I'm intending to concentrate on the early war conflicts against the Italians.
1. There aren't an 8th Army 2" mortar team. Is it better to use BR54 - 2" mortar with crew or BR99 - Airborne 2" mortar instead?
2. Is there Marmon- Herrington A/C somewhere in the range? I can't see anything specifically called that, but I might be missing something. Failing that, anyone able to suggest a suitable alternative from the range?
I've tried searching the forums for pictures of some of the figures that don't have photos in the store, but to no avail. I'd be quite interested in seeing what figures make up:
- The afore mentioned mortar teams
- BR90 - 8th Army Bren
- BR92 - 8th Army command
- BR150 - 8th Army Boyes AT rifle, Mk II
- Neil.
(Last week AVBCW, this week North Africa)
1. BR54 on this, only difference being these are in trousers.
2. We haven't got the Marmon-Herrington at the moment unfortunately.
3. BR54 is 10 mortars with a single chap, 2 poses in the command, the Bren and AT are both single figures. I'll see if I can find some pics of them.
Thanks Leon for the speedy reply. For the 2" mortar and AT, are there recommended crew figures?
I'm guessing the 3" mortar comes with two crew, correct?

Those two wouldn't need extra crew, the 2" is a one-man mortar and the AT rifle is a single chap laid prone on the ground. We could supply extra crewmen from the other artillery codes if you wanted to bulk out your bases though.
The army lists I'm using have:
2" mortar (2 crew)
Boys AT rifle (2 crew)
3" mortars (3 crew each)
So some way of getting extra crew would be really useful.

Thanks, that is a really useful resource. Helps fill in a lot of blanks.

BR129 is an option for an early desert campaign armoured car. Its the Morris CS9 but the last bit is missing in the product description.

Yeah, we can do that, just drop us an email when you order listing how many extra artillery crew you need.

Will do. Hope to be emailing you in the next day or so, just need to figure out what Italians I need now.
You could sell packs of additional crew as the Too Fat Lardies crew pack!

That is one freaky little vehicle. Might just do the job.

Glad it helped - I put it together a few years ago when I was struggling with answers to the type of questions you are asking. I have linked some of the photos to the Pendraken catalogue.
