I was made aware of the film "Derailed" (Clive Owen, 2005) and thought it could be a film made about most of our threads (couldn't it Mr Orcs?)- though why threads are derailed and not de-threaded I'll never know.
I pondered then (because I have no life) what other films would be suitable for showing at Pendraken Film Club?
"A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum" (1966, Zero Mostel)
"Techno" (2014, short, Azia Akazim)
"Orcs!" (2011, Michael Todd Behrens)
"Salon Kitty" (1976, Helmut Berger)
"Leon" (1994, Jean Reno)
"Dave" (1993, Kevin Kline)
"Dark Lord: The Musical" (2015) (yes it is, look it up!)
"Paint your wagon" (1969, Lee Marvin)
"Toy Soldiers" (1991, Wil Wheaton)
"The Green Man" (1990, Albert Finney")
"Take the Lead" (2006, Antonio Banderas")
"The Aztec Mummy Against the Humanoid Robot" (1958, Ramón Gay) (I just loved the title)
"The Girl With the Dragoon Tattoo" (2011, Rooney Mara)
"Wild, Wild Westmarcher" (1999, Kevin Kline)
The Leon in Winter?
'Sonority Babes at The Slime Bowl Bowlarama!'
Oh yes.
I'd forgotten that one.
