Title: Dimensions of LMLB gabion walls
Post by: lentulus on 28 September 2015, 08:43:55 PM
Nice lookers and good candidates to make up a 7YW fortified encampment or siege position. But how big are they? Frontage of course but also thinness.  Or if you can tell me the diameter on 1 gabion I can count   8)

I have the single gabions - they are about 9mm in diameter, and 15mm tall

The LMLB ones are a little smaller than our own metal versions, being 8mm wide and around 13mm high.  The dimensions are the same across all of the different packs, so a 4 gabion wall would be around 32mm long and 13mm high.

What's LMLB then?

I thought it was referring to Late Medieval range - but that wouldn't be right as the gabions are in the ECW range.
