A new intro from an old hand :)
I have now become NZ's latest immigrant. I will be initially living in Kaikohe, up in the Far North.
I have a second interview on the 7th for a job at the same place my wife has a job, so fingers crossed.
The container with all our worldly goods arrives early November, so not sure when my next gaming will be...
Cheers
Ian
Glad you arrived safe and sound. Fingers crossed that your wargames stuff does too. A friend of mine was in NZ during the last World Cup and couldn't believe the tension there during the tournament. I'm sure it's the same this time around.
Very, very best of luck in your 'new venture', Ian ! :)
Hope the second interview goes well. :-bd
Cheers - Phil
Great news, really good to to hear you've arrived safely, I hope your possessions do as well! My brother-in-law's stuff survived the journey without any problems when he emigrated.
We'll be expecting some pictures of this strange New World as well... :D
;D
Welcome back Ian!

Best of luck!
Best of luck with this new part of your life.
Just looked at the map - You are FAR NORTH
Orcs
November....? :o
Dear lord that'd kill me!
Still, glad you've paddled all the way safely :)
We are now settling into our new house in Kerikeri, up in the Far North district of Northland. The good news is that I have negotiated with my wife a wargames room where I can leave a 6' x 4' table set up. I will post some photos of my games room once it is set up. The bad news is that although the ship with our container on has docked today it will still be over a week before we get our stuff. It's now 2 months since I played a game :'(
Will add more later as the 14th sees me heading to Whangerei Games club for 1st time. It is an hour away but the nearest club to me.
Cheers
Ian
The week will soon be gone, Ian ! :)
Look forward to seeing some photo's.
Cheers - Phil
