I like them - fairly easy to pick up; the book has all the lists ever known to man in it, and the combat factors aren't complex. One of the attractions for me is that you don't need loads of bases: 1 base = 1 unit. I've not played DBM, and have only played 1 game of FoG, 1 game of Armati and three games of LaG, so I'm probably not the best person to offer an in-depth review/opinion!
I think another plus is that they work well with any scale - we have used 28mm and 15mm and it made no difference, as everything is measured using MUs (1MU= basewidth);
Another thing I like is that you can get into combat pretty quickly if you want too (and play like me - "there's the enemy lads - Charge!").

They are very nice.
re your photography, the images look OK to me, with the 'off colour' not looking too obvious. Yellowing is frequently caused by the camera either not coping or being properly set to get get the correct white-balance. Forgive me if you already know this, but colour temperature is central to getting correct results. I am guessing that you have photographed under household lights and the white balance on the camera needs to be changed to match that light source ...... otherwise try photographing next to a window or outside (on a not overly bright day) and see what differences you get with natural light (OR use LED lighting and set the camera white balance to K5200 - but remember to turn it back to auto or whatever when you have finished shooting).
Done properly, the image might look a little cold, simply because we are getting so used to seeing warmed up images.

I'd agree with Norm about checking the colour balance....Though there doesn't look (to me) to be any problem in the majority of the photo's.

Techno/Norm: thanks for the photography advice. I do usually use household lighting, and try to play about with the white balance; the legionaires and Equatae Illyricani were done with natural light and the camera set to a low-light setting. I think it's mostly the post-production that affects it most, as I only have Microsoft's Picture Manager to do the editing, so it can be a bit hit-and-miss
