Title: Red Mountain Hill Dwarves - progress report 3
Post by: Luddite on 13 September 2015, 04:11:09 PM
So, with so much else going on lately, i've been neglecting my paint table.  I've picked things back up and made some progress on my Hill Dwarves army.

Fantastic Dwarf army! Really nice. Did you use pins for banner poles?

No, brass rods from the local modelling shop.

A great looking army, tempts me to get some Hill Dwarves...but I must finish my High Elves first.

This really is an excellent army. I love how you have used the big bases to make each unit look like it is deployed for battle, with dense shield walls, sparse skirmishers and the cannons.

The mages are particularly imaginative.

I'm tempted to add some guns to my gyrocopters, as I was looking at them today, and they look like they should have a gun on them.

I think it's a great strength of Warband basing tied to Pendraken figures.   :D

These are excellent, the artillery base in particular is a lovely composition.

It looks like a lot of thought and effort went into them...and it worked. Great looking chaps.
