In line with using my Pendraken Barbarians in Warband as normal and as Pseudo-Orcs in Warmaster can anyone suggest suitable proxy figures for Goblin Wolf Chariots and Goblin Wolf Riders.
They don't have to be Pendraken but it would be nice if they were as long as they look a bit like a barbarian.
An example of my warped thinking is I am planning to use a weirdly painted Mammoth (think spirit Mammoth) as a Wyvern.
I would speak very nicely to the Dark lord and ask him to supply you with some High elf chariots with barbarian crew. or without so you could add your own.
If he says no chat up Adele at a show (she who wears the one ring of power) and you will find the Dark Lord will obey.
Jim,
for what it's worth, I'd say JAFOs suggestion of HE chariots with barbarian crew would be my first choice and for Goblin Wolf Riders hows about unarmoured centaurs?
A Ghost Mammoth "spirit animal "sounds wonderful!!

Or perhaps he will get rather cross ;)
I would just speak nicely to either of them ;D

I'm sure Leon will be along shortly with a sort of official Pendraken response.

The older Goblin chariot would probably better suit the Barbarians, being a more rough wooden construction. It's a little larger as a model as well, so could have a couple of Barb's driving/shooting from it. We can supply either chariot with Barb crewmen, not a problem.

Is there any problem with just using the bison riders as wolf riders?! :-\
Cheers!

That would be perfect Leon.
I'll draw up a list for you when the wargaming budget allows.

Thanks for your suggestion.
No, there's not a problem but I was hoping to use the Bison Riders as a proxy for the Boar Riders.
The Wolf Riders have a missile attack in Warmaster so I am inclined to go for Centaur Archers at the moment.
Time will tell.

The idea came to me after eating a banned 2-finger KitKat.
Its been suggested that I need to lose about 2 stone (ha) (30 pounds to our 'merican friends). I have the body of a not-very-fit 77 year old, you know the problem.
I'll get the mammoth done first.

Medics say I need to lose twice that ... but not too quickly apparently or I'll trash their ability to stabilise the other things wrong with me.
I have the body of a 25 year-old athlete .... OH GODS! I HOPE THE POLICE DON'T THINK TO LOOK IN THE CHEST FREEZER!! ;)
Look forward to pics of the mammoth when done.
I'm looking at 2 stones in the rear view mirror. I'm into 'half body weight' territory. The sort of thing where even the hospital scales can't cope.
The belly-beard combo is a natural consequence of licking too many brushes i reckon.

Rumour has it that a Spirit Mammoth has materialised in the neighbourhood.
I'll go hunting with my trusty Panasonic later on hoping to snap a glimpse.
Looking forward to the pictures, Jim.
I hope this means recovery is going well.

Things are on the up, weight has sort of stabilised around a stone lighter than I was, surgery pain has almost gone, developed some new pains which doctor associates with the invasive surgery but I'm not convinced, just started to paint figures again after warming up on a few bases and sabots. Still aiming to get to Kirriemuir although can't/shouldn't drive yet!
Ithoriel
I hope she didn't put up too much of a fight. ;D ;D
Regards
Sean

Nice one Jim
Ho, yuss!! Very, very nice indeed. The sabot bases look good and work well. Mammoth was worth the wait!
