With the freshly released British taking to the field complete with their Generals, we couldn't have the French wandering aimlessly about without direction, so here's a few French Generals as well! As mentioned earlier, next up will be the Nassau troops before the end of the month, and then we'll be folllowing up with the Prussian range sometime in Oct/Nov hopefully.

Very nice ... but the Napoleon seems to be the 1815 Napoleon, and I specifically wanted one for August 1813 when he was about 7lb lighter and wore a slightly larger hat on Tuesdays.
:P

Maybe it is the 1813 napoleon, who just had a very festive banquet, and maybe it's friday, and his bigger hat is at the drycleaner.
Very nice sculpts, pity my main Napoleonic stuff is in 6mm!! But very tempting all the same.
These are just what I wanted. :) :D
Now to make up Corps command groups I use 3 figures. So what would be suitable?
Ney can use the sword waving officers from the French list.
Davout historically and figure wise is little more restrained and exudes a sense of calm control. So ideally figures not waving swords would be ideal. I have found one in the French War in Spain list that is compatible (tries to helpfully find the catalogue number and finds the list has been removed :'( ) (I wonder if it will still be available?)
Napoleon needs a larger group as an army commander. This ideally will not be sword waving officers so the French Spanish general could be used but it will also need some more mounted figures. I am a bit stumped with this. :-\
Anyway, I need to order some of these so I will ring you later Leon. :)

Yes they appear to be gone :-\
Will they be coming back like with the Old acw range?
The old peninsular ranges have now been removed from the website, something we've wanted to do for quite some time. The figures just don't match up with anything else we do, either size or stylewise, so it's better to take them off so that we don't get any new customers starting fresh armies with those ranges. As with all our old ranges though, we never throw the moulds away, they just get moved onto a separate rack in the unit, so we can still supply them if folks are adding to existing armies.
The longer term good news is that we will be expanding the Naps ranges to fill in the Peninsular gap at some point down the line.

The old ACW range is only available as people are still buying them. We will have to remove codes along the way as the moulds get too old (as has already happened with the artillery), so they will slowly disappear from the website as well.
These are great
and have been duly purchased
but when oh when do we get a howitzer?

Makes sense, I remember getting some of my generals for my old project from the old acw range, that's why i asked.
Oh nice!
This means that I'll be able to make my supreme command base with chasseurs de la garde escorts!
