Hi all,
I'm Benno from Benno's Figures Forum. I started a survey to learn more about people's interests and opinions related to miniature events and the hobby in general. This will help us make improvements to our yearly event and prioritize content on our event's website. The survey should only take 15 minutes, and your responses are completely anonymous.

The survey closes on September 5, 2015.
I would really appreciate your input!
Hi Benno, welcome to the Forum! I've completed the questionnaire, some tricky questions there.
For my favourite show I went for Salute just for the sheer size of it, but I enjoy a lot of the other shows for different reasons. Carronade and Durham are nice friendly events, York, Hammerhead and Warfare are busy and good for sales, Border Reiver and Fiasco are nearby so not far to travel. And of course Battleground is our own show so we enjoy that as well...!
I'd be interested to hear if anyone puts Battleground as their favourite event, and also how many people put the Pendraken Forum as one of their online forum visits.
:-\
Done and dusted.
Welcome. Benno.
Cheers - Phil
Hi Benno. Good to see you here
I've done the survey - I think you might have a lot of part completed surveys
The 5 things questions are really annoying. The instructions say up to 5. But you have to do exactly 5. The categories on those are also a bit odd.
Don't know why you don't have Sci Fi on the areas of interest, Steam Punk is a very niche choice to put in
Thanks to all who have filled out the survey so far! Much appreciated! I've learned a lot thanks to your feedback and will try to improve my upcoming surveys.

Thanks Leon. I'll try to let you know once the survey ends. ;)

Doh! I missed that one! I modified the instructions, thanks!

In hindsight it is indeed strange of me to do that. After the first results came running in I realized quite a few categories were missing, but it was too late to change it. Luckily there is an "Other" option which has given a lot of useful feedback!

I only frequent the best places. I should get back to your place sometime
Done
Tantalising and frustrating (as these things normally are!) but now done.
I too thought "why steampunk?"
Let me add my "welcome to the forum" to the others.
Welcome :-h
Haven't done the survey yet, not sure if an Antipodeans view would be relevant
Welcome, and done.
I answered that quite speedily.

You're setting yourself up for some pithy comments there!
Did. No probs with the questions.

Done.
Its a shame it didn't include questions on why people don't go to events. I haven't attended a show in years purely because of the travelling distances involved and associated costs of travelling.
Done ;D

There was the "Any Other Business" type section right at the end that would have done for that sort of thing. Though I don't think organisers can really do much about the expense of travel these days.
Personally I am retired and have my "old fogey's" bus pass which lets me travel to shows I couldn't justify attending before.

I still stick with my two strikes and out rule, that way they get two shows to impress and keep me interested and I don't decide on one bad performance.
I have done the questionaire.
Done.

Just think of all the money you save and the lack of temptation to add to your lead pile.
Had a few head scratching moments -nearly got splinters, I know- but completed it.
Wotcha from me as well.
