Title: 106mm Recoilless Rifle.
Post by: Steeleye on 22 August 2015, 10:57:03 AM
PLEASE!!!!!!

Can you make a 106mm Recoilless Rifle to go with your Vietnam Range?

I mean, how difficult would it be? Its basically a long tube with a flared end on a wheeled mounting.

Come on guys, I bet it wouldn't take more than a couple of hours to make!

Should be quicker than that, they've already made 6 ;)

Count me in too.

A tripod mount, and one for jeeps and M113s as well.

Add a little "Davy Crockett" warhead option for those trying to stem the communist tide at the Fulda Gap.

Of course, some crew figs would be useful too.

From what I've read, a three-man crew as used, at least for the pocket nukes.

To be honest I tried the Ontos option some years ago and found the 105mm (yes it is actually 105 - its was only called the 106 to avoid confusion with ammo for an earlier RR) barrels a little on the small diameter when compared with other 105 and 90mm barrels in the Pendraken range.

A fresh sculpt with attention to the chamber lock detail and at least as beefy in the barrel as the 75mm RCL would be neat.
