Title: [Video] How to get your kids into wargaming!
Post by: Biffa on 20 August 2015, 09:21:09 AM
I've been looking for a way to wean my lad off Minecraft and do something far less nerdy with his friends, then a dad suggested Tank Battle a really old game from 1976 well I thought I'd give it a try, it was a ton of fun so I made this not so serious video/review to share with other wargamer dads.

I'd recommend it, there's still a few boxes around but MB should really consider republishing this game maybe with slightly simpler rules!

Now if I could only get him to paint some of my figures!

Excellent, looks a really good game and fun for the boys. Very clever editing too, you should save that and show it to the boys in about ten years time!

You sure about that? Total prize fund for the latest DOTA2 tournie is c.$10.9M of which c. $5M goes to the winning team.

Rather better than the prizes for any wargames tournament I ever entered.

Perhaps you should encourage him to widen his range of video games :)
