Very nice!
Excellent! When you say 2/3 of scale, could I ask what rule set they are based for?
Mollinary
Those are lovely!
Bon chance!

it is a new Spanish rule: "Tercios" to replay great battles
simple system but not simplistic and very fun to play, all that is special about this time is very well managed
To form an opinion, a free version is available in English here:
https://fr.scribd.com/doc/268954336/Brevis-Editio-Tercios-English
But I then advised to have the complete rule brings many interests at play
enjoy reading
eric
These are extremely nice - I love the horse colours and faces in particular.
Well done.

Excellent work. Really good bright colours.
Which ranges / codes are the figures from?
Very nicely done! Like the use of the casualty markers also.
Stunning work Eric, i'm just doing some of these, great figs.
Kev
Great looking unit. Keep them coming.
Fantastic work, I hope we'll be seeing these in the painting competition!

Which ranges / codes are the figures from?
ECW pikemen in helmet (EC1) and the front rank looks to be EL5 from the Elizabethan range. Command is from the ECW range (EC5) as are the firing and poses (EC14). The ones in the back corners look to be either EC36 or EC37, the marching/advancing chaps. And finally EC38 and EC39 for the casualty markers.
It's a great composition, really nice use of the various figures.
8)
Thank you your encouragement !!
Here the composition:
for pikemen: EC1, EC5 and EL5
for the Musketeers: EC3, EC14, EC28 and YW1
EC38 and EC39 for the wounded
eric
Very nice indeed
Take care
Andy
:-bd =D> :-bd =D>
A really great mix of uniformity and variety in the figures :)
A really good way to fill the set back space for the pike, except for the two poor chaps directly affected ;)
Those are extremely nice =D>
exellent job! :-bd
Thanks, some good inspiration for me.
Good evening!!
Artillery being painted, I thought it would be quick to paint, but there are many details to consider .......... a real pleasure to paint !!!

Very, very tasty ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil.
Great job Eric, a nice touch adding the two flintlock men.

Don't give up; this is going to be a stunner!
These are terrific! Particularly like the braiding (?) detail on the drummer. Hopefully, the guys with the small arms firing from the gun position are using flintlocks! Look forward to seeing the next batch. :-bd

Formidable!
I like the way the gabion base slots onto the front of the artillery base. Where do those bases come from?
Tres Bonne :) :)
Very nice, lots of character in the painting. Which rules are you basing for?
Are the figure mainly from the ECW range?
Ta peinture est de très bon niveau, félicitations, Do you plan a replay of Rocroi anytime soon?
thank you all !!!

these are bases MDF I recut to better integrate with guns .......
the small elements between the gabions are to 6mm, but also very suitable for 10mm

they are designed for very good rule "Tercios" ...... I expected the supplement for the Eastern armies (mainly Polish and Ottoman .......)
yes, it is mainly figurines of ECW and 30YW range, with some of the range "Elizabethan"

indeed, I am inspired by the Battle of Rocroi, but a little smaller format ...... Spanish Tercios then follow
eric
What a joy! Love the close-up views and the basing. So inspirational. Only wish I could paint so well. =D>
EXCELLENT 8)

Wow, lovely stuff and the posing of the bases (not to mention the painting!) is fantastic.
Absolutely superb. Wonderful painting but...the bases. Wow.
So atmospheric.
More please !

Hello bradpitre
Very well painted units. This just emphasises why I've never posted a picture of any of my painted figures :D :D.

In case people were wondering the Tercios rule set is available from here http://elkraken.es/released/en/tercios/ (http://elkraken.es/released/en/tercios/). There is also a truncated free version available from this page http://elkraken.es/released/en/game-aids/ (http://elkraken.es/released/en/game-aids/). Just be aware the free version on Dropbox is in Spanish while the Scribd version is in English. Are you using a smaller base size than the recommended size?
Any news on TB Line?
Cheers
GrumpyOldMan
Gosh, those bases in 6mm must be absolutely massive against 6mm artillery.
Hello!!
indeed, free rule "Brevis Editio" http://fr.scribd.com/doc/268954336/Brevis-Editio-Tercios-English is already full to play
Rule "Liber Militum" (period 30YW) guard all the principles and adds the rules of commandments, a random scenarios system and an army mounting system much more detailed with the possibility to customize the units
the first supplement "Kingdoms" (unfortunately only in Spanish for now) adds the ECW periods and nations of the East (Russian, Cossack, Ottoman, Polish, etc ......) with their special rules
I play 10mm, so I reduced the size of the foundations of a tier
80mm x 80mm instead 120mm x 120mm (Tercios)
80mm x 40mm instead 120mm x 60mm (infantry battalions)
60mm x 30mm instead 80mm x 40mm (infantry companies and cavalry )
30mm x 30mm instead 40mm x 40mm (artillery)
it allows me to play on a table 120cm x 80cm instead 180cm x 120cm
And unfortunately, no news of TB line :'( :'( :'(
you know everything!! ;)
eric

here, the artillery is with all of its options (large / Carthorses / protection)
otherwise, it is represented by a single base 30x30mm ;) :)
Great work Bradpitre! Will follow you progress with interest!
