I have tried to send a PM to one of the forum members but every time I get a pink message that says something about message being too large and the number 50 is in it but the message doesn't stay for long enough for me to finish reading it. I reduced the size of the message but that hasn't helped.

One of the other forums I use which I'm pretty sure uses the same codebase as this one has a 50 message limit in the mailbox so because most of them save a draft or a sent message you may just have a full/nearly full mailbox so it's acting funny.
