Title: 1/72 Russkis
Post by: SV52 on 19 July 2015, 05:12:57 PM
Been loathe to post non-P as I've been too wrapped up in other stuff to get around to more 10s.  Anyway, latest off the table:

1/72 plastics from Zvezda and Orion:

Streltsi regiment and Cossack skirmishers.

There's definitely something to be said for nice painted 1/72 plastics. Are you getting the Polish to face them or is someone else doing them?

Thanks guys.

I'm embarrassed to admit that the Polish are one of my Pendraken 10mm armies and my Turks are 15mm - don't ask  :-[  Solo gamer so makes it even worse.

I'm leaning towards Swedes as the opposition as I've got a TYW army in the same scale (surprise).  Might just make it as the Russians didn't change much from late 16th century to around 1700.  I'm such a stickler for historical accuracy you see  ;)

Lovely. More pix, please.

Remember Cossacks make a very colourful army or two as well.
