I'm not sure if you would define me as 'religiously deluded' but, if so, no, not all.
$99 does seem a bit excessive though.

Is anyone prepared to admit to a C7 arab army with a named command figure?
I know of one player who had such an army. His command element was a black tent ;)
I remember seeing an Arab Conquest army that had some wonderful banners with beautiful calligraphy on the inscrpitions.
Somewhat bizarre to find out that since the guy knew no Arabic and it was in the days before the internet the inscriptions were taken from food wrappers and the followers of the prophet were riding under banners reading "ingredients: sugar, wheat flour, water..." or "suitable for vegetarians." :o
;D ;D ;D
سلام
خبز
والأرض
is on many of my persian banners, borrowed from Lenin ;)
Cheers

99 dollars does seem rather steep for a boardgame one might never play twice.

Certainly, Abu Bakir was a great General
Jesus leads the loyalists in the civil war in Paradise Lost. Though it looks like a fixed fight; not much use as a wargame.
