...if Seleucids can handle the dreaded Indians any better.

I'm kinda counting on it.

It worked. Seleucid cavalry hammered Indian horse and chariots, peltasts saw off the elephants, phalanx clobbered the infantry.

And all is right with the world :D

Hmmm. Lee's got the sulks about losing.

That's been suggested.

Then get out your special dice with two ones and no sixes on ;)

Any die I roll with becomes one of those within twenty minutes.

You must buy 'em off the same people I do :D

I try never to rely on any plan that requires good (or average) dice rolls ;)

Right. If your plan is 90% likely to succeed, there's an 85% probability of disastrous failure. Mathematically absurd, but empirically confirmed over the decades.

I dunno, I am pretty great as is  :-\ 8) :o

Not to blow my own trumpet, because I haven't got one.

FK seems pretty great as well, but as I haven't seen us in the same room at the same time, I can't be sure we're not.

Maybe we am. Say after me "More Aztecs, fewer split infinitives!" Can give that 150% passionate conviction?

Hmm, I'd be tempted by Aztecs... but I really don't get very fussed about apostrophising thing...

Maybe we're not the same person. Do you have a leaky greyhound mithering about the house? If not we're almost definitely different people...

I've got a kaltsaphagic Siamese kitten. The greyhound lines are there in the figure; that is to say, if they were warships they'd both be destroyers.

Close, but no cigar - I think we're probably safe to assume we're actually different people.

Unless you've just spent your lunch break hangin my washing out, anyway ;)

Damnit, you're definitely not me then!
