Title: need help finding suitable models
Post by: petercooman on 28 June 2015, 09:32:44 PM
With my acw project drawing to a close, i am looking at a few bits that i still need for my zombie/sience fiction project.

I have the new marines without battle armour lying around, but i would really like a sniper team for them. Now my first thought was to use the falkland snipers, but they are all prone, and as the dropzone buildings i will be using have a 'parapet' around the roof, i wanted some kneeling models instead.

My first thought was the ww2 russian scout snipers:

IF anybody has a better idea in the pendraken ranges, or suggestions, please share!

I'm also looking at miniatures that can represent police officers wearing caps  with pistols/ shotguns/ rifles.

So far i have found the following:

http://www.pendraken.co.uk/SCW32-p4109/

Again, any other suggestions are appreciated!

Would have loved to have them look like british officers, but it seems there are only those available with rifles:

The officer who comes with the WWI British Royal Naval Division figures could work as a police officer

Can't find a decent photo right now. But its the furthest chap on these bases

Indeed he does! Any idea about the ratios in that pack, as it's a 30 model one  :o

Might have to bug Leon for some single models.

That's the problem with skirmish gaming in 10mm, the packs are too big  ;D ;D

There is a few in the pack - probably 3 or 4.

Probably time to bug Leon...

Hello PC

If you're happy to have a winter setting there are the WW1 British in Greatcoat:-

But i do have a winter setup available @-)

Maybe i could double up and make some for both settings  :-\
