Hello all, has there been any news on the expected date for the new undead army to arrive?
Cheers,
Matt
Shouldn't be too far away, the sculpts all arrived at Pendraken HQ a fortnight ago and we got the first production mould done on Wednesday. Once we're back from the show this weekend we'll get busy on the rest of them.

Ohh!
And another batch of monsters have been moulded and are just about ready for release as well!
Double ohh! :D

Did you used the new shiney mould machine?

It's just got it's first run tonight, moulding some WWII Germans...
Bump...
>:(
Surely the undead should go bump in the night, not the middle of the day? :)
They were out in the sunlight, while I was making them. :D
Cheers - Phil (What actually happened to the sunlight ?....Typically.....Wales has gone all wet, AGAIN !! :'( :'( :'( :'(.....No change there. then !)
The last of the production moulds were done while I was away on holiday, so the whole range is ready to go now. They won't be released until after Claymore though, as I'm not going to get chance to take the web photos (and wouldn't have time to cast any army packs for the show either!), but I should be able to get them all photo'd up for release early next week.
The better news is that the High Elves moulds are almost done as well, so we'll be able to follow on with a second new range pretty quickly.

Undead just after I've blown all my "mad money" at Claymore :(

I aim to please! ;D
I'm quite keen on seeing these undead chaps now as well :D
Oh man! High Elves too!?
I need to pay for my airline tickets overseas today... This will be an expensive few weeks!
In a last minute update, we've managed to get some of the new Undead cast up, so we'll have a handful of the armies with us at Claymore tomorrow. Pop by and grab yours before they all sell out!
For everyone else, I'll get the web photos sorted on Mon/Tues and they'll be available on the website Wed/Thurs.

Got mine at Claymore, and very nice they look too!
Welcome to the forum Wonderdog :-h
Seems there were quite a few forum members at Claymore
Hello and welcome
Welcome to the forum, Wonderdog.
Cheers - Phil
What ho! Wonderdog, or may I call you Fanny?
I used to love you in the Joan Collins Fanclub with Julian Clary.
Hi Wonderdog, welcome to the forum.
Yet another forumite I walked past (or even spoke to?) at Claymore without realising!
Be warned, the whole forum's mad except me and thee ... and I'm not so sure about thee! ;)
The Undead went really well at Claymore yesterday (as did the other armies as well!) so I'll have to get them all restocked again in time for Border Reiver next month!
Undead release. Is this another lost Elvis recording?

Oh boy. Any sign of a new vampire lord? 8)
Hope not. It took long enough to despatch Christopher Lee, as I recall from the Hammer Horror days of my youth.

Would love to review them Leon if poss
I'm just casting them off now so that I can get the photos done later tonight. Should be on the website either tonight or tomorrow night.

At some point I'll be getting 8 lots of Zombies for my Vampire Counts army. I was going to get them from Kallistra. Not any more :D.
The plus point for me is they'll cost the same but there will only be 200 figures to paint and not the 240 that (I think) would be the number from Kallistra. That and the variety of course!
Nice one lads :-bd
The cavalry - 25 figures?
That's incredibly generous!
I'm wondering if that should be 12 riders rather than 25, Andy. :-\
Says 12 on the first page of "New Warband Undead Now Available" but 25 on the 'catalogue' page.
Leon will know. :)
Cheers - Phil
There are 12 in the picture, so I would go with that. ;)
Weeeellll, I dunno, Consumer Protection Act an' all dat, kno' wot I meen?
Needs sorting pronto methinks...
Sure it will be sorted when the Dark Lord arises from his slumbers.
Oops, bit of a typo there on my part, someone could have got themselves a bargain! Luckliy no one's ordered any yet so we're OK... :D
No need to thank me (mind you a pack of 25 Undead hossy riders wouldn't go amiss ;) :D)

When I first saw the title to this post I thought it refered to weather we should let Leon and Techno out on the town for a night.
In my case......Cruel....But fair. :P
Leon ?.......Nah !.....He doesn't look like one of "The children of the night."

Could have been worse. Could have been a heavy metal recording.
"Ladies and gentlemen. May I present to you the 'Undead' featuring Tech-Bad-To-the-Core-No, the screaming frontman, the man whose guitar playing sounds like the playing of a man with six fingers, which due to some very close antecedents could have been the case, the man who thinks a Riff is like a Berber, the man who blushes every time he plucks a G-string, them rockinest, rollingest, hard drinkingest (if you count Ribena) sheep-puncher every to get the 5:42 out of South Wales on a second class ticket! He wailed in 'Evil Empire', he was shocking in 'the Electricity Board', and he sort of moulders in 'Undead'. He leaves a trail of empty bottles, green putty and confused females wherever he goes! Do you think you know loud? Well Tech-me-home-again-Kathleen-no knows loud! He once wore a purple shirt with a green tie! He has been known to cough and not apologise! His Dremmel has no acoustic dampening! Ladies, Gentlemen and Forum Members, the one, the only, when they made him, they shot the sculptor! Give it loud for TEKKKKKKNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
"... and Leon on triangle.".
Ahhhh, you've heard the stuff on Games Workshops "Warhammer Records" and Bolt Thrower then?!
Stirring music to game to. Now, where's me earplugs...

I still have a copy of the flexi-disc somewhere :D
Think they photographed better than they played ;)
I've still got a copy attached to the WD it came with. ;D ;D ;D ;D.....If the rats haven't got at it, in the shed.
I think the lead singer's name was Martin (Martyn ?)......Really, really nice guy.
The almost 'demonic', deep voice he produced on the record, was a million miles away from his normal speaking voice.
Cheers - Phil

I wonder...
*off to Youtube
That's actually much better than I thought it was, which surprises me as when I first heard them I was well into thrash metal and death metal and all sorts of very loud shouty grunty grindy music, and I remember thinking it was pretty bad, but I'm pleasantly surprised!
EDIT: YouTube link fixed.
I swapped my copy for another CD.
Chap that worked in a 'record store' really liked Bolt Thrower.

It WAS the Bolt Thrower CD I swapped......But I think you're right....It was Sabbat that produced the flexi disc.....I can remember the cover of their album now.
That was Martin's band.
I'm too old to remember now ! :-[
