Title: Black Powder at Istnabul!
Post by: KTravlos on 16 June 2015, 06:29:14 PM
Over the weekend I went and watched Onur and Mehmet at the Karargah Club play a game of Black Powder using Pendraken Miniatures. The theme was the 2nd Egyptian-Ottoman War.

You can a battle report by Mehmet here

Very cool! I knew about Moltke at Nezib/Nisib, but Brits at Boharsef was new to me. How big were the armies at Boharsef, do you know?

Hi Chris. Mehmet did the research so I cannot say 100%. From my own reading the Anglo-Austrian forces landed in the Syria during the war did not amount to more than 1500-2000 troops + Ottoman allies. But I may be wrong.
