I'd like to use some wrecks, ( for the look, and objectives )
An early T34, early Pz ( Pz III ?) and a Sherman should cover all the needs for the European front (even for the last months of the war, they only will be wrecks)
What do you think ?
( I know nothing about moulding, may be there some broken casts that should be sell instead of being sent to the "melt pile" ?)
I guess bogged down vehicles could easily be done.
Then they could be used as bogged down or entrenched.
Catastrophic destruction souldn't be that hard to do with a dremel to make a hole for the turret, with the turret next to the AFV.
This would be fun!

Though most of the time I think ruined tracks and open hatches seem to be the order of the day.

Did you ever see me doing something like that without hurting myself ? :'(
;)
But I will think about it, thank you.

I once bought cows from pendraken, and tried to turn some of them into dead cows, by removing the base.... Know I only use standing and alive cows ! )

WTF?!
Well, I understood what he meant.
He wanted to create some models of these:

but it didn't work out so well so now he just uses models of these:

And it was certainly better than if I tried to say it in French ;)
Ronan,
That sounded painful.
I also understood what you meant immediately! If I tried that in French you would be laughing into the middle of next week!

So...Has the tank on the right been modified as an anti-aircraft gun.....Or has some commander type shouted 'SIT'.
I need to know this sort of thing.
Cheers - Phil
Very silly Phil.....
IanS
Bet when the tank was hit he said something like "sit"!

These could be a bit more of a project.

No problem ! You may correct me !
I'm glad most of you understood, and some of you translated and explained ! ;)

FSN : I won't try to make these kind of wrecks ;D
I've got some of Peter Pig's wrecked tanks for my 15mm CoC games .... if I ever get the stuff painted!
"Dead" PzIVs, Tigers and T34s make a change from trees, walls and boulders as things to hide behind.
I am now being distracted from my painting of Armada ships by an idea for a "dead tank" objective marker ..... dammit!!

Don't you hate it when someone gets you painting something else
We had a Chain of Command Campaign at our Club - but they made it all early war . So I had to buy a load more kit and paint it, rather than what I was actually doing at the time
Then someone starts a Saga campaign and again I have to get some suitable figures and paint them. Hopefully I can get on doing my own stuff now .
Still at least I can bleme my need to purchase stuff on someone else :-bd
That's definitely a cool idea, and I'd get a few of each.
Don't forget burned out halftracks, trucks, and jeeps.
V/R,
Jack
I like this idea, might be cool to get these done as little resin circular pieces... :-\
Sounds good to me. I have several of the Peter Pig wrecked vehicles as scenery for Chain of Command.
10mm scale versions along the lines of these Peter Pig ones would be good.

The trick is to suggest something that you already have the figures for but don't tell anyone, then, while they think you are painting stuff for the current project you are actually painting something else. If they don't clock on you could use this for years.
