Been watching this tech develop for a few years now.
Very interesting.

Its an American warship. They can't hit a barn door at 10 paces.
It was two and half centuries ago, Limeys, and they beat you. Get used to it.
My Grandad was at Scapa Flow during WWII when a certain US carrier steamed in.
A small destroyer slipped anchor, steamed up, and signalled "wanna rematch?"
I was in a bar in Fredericksburg on the 4th July 2013 and proposed a toast to the whole pub.
"To the British!'
Should have seen their faces. Priceless. :)
[Yes, obviously I survived]
Scapa Flow, Lem
I'm sure he can still read that.
Yes, without a zoom! :P

Actually, two and a half centuries ago the French beat us and saved the American's bacon. The Americans have never forgiven them. No good deed goes unpunished!
A sub-mariner friend of mine once told me a story of how his sub pulled-in(?), floated-in (?) -I don't know what the correct term is- to Hong Kong Harbour and found an American fleet moored there after a stint in the China Sea supporting their land troops in Vietnam. The sub found a berth and my mate and some friends managed to get off the sub for a spot of D&W. Eventually, my mate found a bar where they could actually get to the bar and soon got into a conversation with some of their American equivalents. One of the Americans asked why the Brits weren't in Vietnam. One of the sub-mariners who was apparently aggrieved that all the regular British Navy watering holes were taken by Americans replied was that the Cong were doing all right on their own! My mate did not know how they got out of the bar in one piece.
Have to say that when I first read the sublect of this topic I was somewhat perplexed by the delay in reporting the event until I realised we weren't referring to:
