Hi

Just saw that Sweet is releasing a double kit of the Claude in a month or so.

I got mine through F-toy but if you need some there are some others available now  :).

Cheers

Why do they always aim their box-art squarely at five-year olds? I must admit it's put me off in the past.

I would suggest its something to do with how the Japanese see their role in WWII and an attempt to look non-militaristic and harmless.

Absolutely my favourite 1930's fighter from the golden age of aviation so thanks for the heads up, will definitely be ordering a few of these for an imaginations wings of war, just need a couple of p-26 and Shrike fighter bombers. Thanks for the heads up.

Likewise I find the presentation perplexing and just a little bit worrying, especially the whole teenage girls in uniform bit, but still great news on the kit front.

From the culture that gave us excruciatingly painful ritual disembowelment, suicide bombers, wasabi, and Hello Kitty. Can't help admiring so much about them, but dear God they're weird.

You probably already know but the P26 and Shrike are available from Fairy Kikaku at HLJ http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?fb=0&GenreCode=Air&Maker1=FIR&Dis=-2&Title=1/144%20Aircraft%20Resin%20Kits%20from%20Fairy%20Kikaku (http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?fb=0&GenreCode=Air&Maker1=FIR&Dis=-2&Title=1/144%20Aircraft%20Resin%20Kits%20from%20Fairy%20Kikaku) or from Shapeways :-
