Would you consider Pz IIIn WITHOUT armoured skirts, short 75mm. These would be important for winter 1942/43 Eastern Front Kharkov etc.

I'd second that. Something to protect the Tigers from infantry.

Ofcourse, the only thing that would be needed is a new turret, as the skirts can be left off the hull antway.
