Forty two quid for a Ratte and two Maus!!? Eek!

I picked up what looks like one of the Maus models for less than a fiver, including postage, a year or two back on EBay.

Got a Karl Gerat Morser at the same time for much the same price.

Disappointed that you don't get the flying saucers too :)

It's a pretty big chunk of plastic - nearly 40cm by 25cm :S

If I field it the opposition will just bring the Arthur Harris House Clearance and Demolition Company ;)

Exactly. The whole thing's just teenaged wargames porn with all the usefulness of a concrete parachute.

Years ago a guy ran a Modern Chinese army using WRG rules, masses of infantry that swamped all opposition. One day an opponent turned up with a Jeep and a B52... After the B52 dropped the nuke the Jeep claimed the objectives, crew in NBC suits

Awesome :D

Reminds somewhat of this. A brilliant counter to the cheese inherent in the competition scene (or overly competitive scene, anyway) & W40K in particular - http://imgur.com/gallery/V0gND (http://imgur.com/gallery/V0gND)

And that is exactly why I don't indulge in competition gaming!

Loads of them on eBay, by the way, potentially at slightly lower prices, but not by much...
