They look great, and welcome to the forum!

Hi - I like the vibrancy that you have managed to get into your British chaps. They have that lovely lustre of figures that are 'inked with thinned down black oil paint - is that so, or did they have a black ink and then you went back in with highlight colours?

Welcome, a very impressive first post
I'm also interest in the answer to Norm's question
Looking good !
Welcome to the forum, Richard.
Cheers - Phil
Excellent British force, and welcome to the forum.
Hi Richard,
Really nice looking army, great basing.

Very nice work 8)
Very nice work there. :)
Thanks to all for your comments
@Norm and paulr
Inked after painting, then small highlights after
I never use Black ink
I keep a pot of wash and add brown and greens in whatever shades I have available
70% water 20% klear 10% ink or something close anyway !
Keep topped up as you go and don't worry too much about the shades
Make it up as you go along and this keeps things more natural looking when you work with it
Works for me anyway
I don't like the parade ground look to my figures
I like them to look like they have been in the field for a while
Same wash goes all over the figures and base as well to link all together
Fantastic army mate ! Welcome to the forum ;)
Thanks, I also like the 'lived in' look ;)
Great looking figures, sir. (I was going to use the initials of your username, and then thought better of it) :-[
Very nice!
