Hello I am a keen wargamer who enjoys painting and using 10 mm armies. I have Pendraken armies from the Renaissance to the Inter-War period but my interest is largely in the long 19th century. I have enjoyed reading posts on the forum and have learned a great deal. I look forward to taking part in discussions in the future.

Welcome Shireman
Please collect your coat that ties up and the back and come in
Bet he has to shave his feet.
Now now - no being rude to new members - give em 20 mins to settle in.
Hi
IanS
Welcome Shireman. Lots of stuff on here about the C19th.
A warm welcome from me too. :-h
Watch out for these other Hobbits. They're tricksie.
Many thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I took my name from the fact that I live in a village so sleepy that my friends call it Hobbiton......so not very far off the mark in your guessing.
Hello and welcome!
A hearty wotcha from me as well.
Hello and welcome to the forum
Take care
Andy
Hi Shireman. Welcome to the forum.
The English Shires were always reckoned to be up around Melton Mowbray and thereabouts. Huntin', shootin' and peasant pheasant-stuffin' country.
UKIP hertland eh ?
Hello, Welcome to the forum.

Welcome sir. Shire man myself. :)
Any 'Obbits in the Shire these days?
