Title: Beyond the Pale...
Post by: Luddite on 04 May 2015, 03:57:49 PM
A while ago we had the thread about whether there was any period/genre you wouldn't game in.

I've always considered that for me there's nothing i wouldn't do.

A friend of mine just sent me this - i couldn't do it.  The memories are just too bitter...

Not really interested in Asian warfare. World War II doesn't float my boat. Not in the least interested in Sci-fi, future war, indeed anything post-1930. And for some reason or other I am having difficulty warming to Napoleonic, but that may be because I'm not enjoying Blucher very much.

We did something similar in the early 80's at Middlesbrough wargames club, I vaguely remember East German arms supplies of the NE coast. Only lasted a few months can't remember who if anyone won.

Cheers

Looked further into the blog. Is he a member of the forum? If not, on this evidence, perhaps we should offer him sanctuary?   :D

There was a uprising in Middlesbrough in the 80s ! That answers a few questions. Mind the BBC never mentioned it. ;)
