If it's a robot tank, why are there two crewmen poking out of it?... :-\
Looks like International Rescue might have its hands full in future (remember the Thunderbirds episode when a robot tank went out of control and ran amok?)
Does this mean Fantasy/Sci-Fi wargamers will eventually become Historical wargamers?

QuoteThe Armata tank has an unmanned turret and a 125mm smooth-bore cannon that can fire guided missiles as well as shells.
The two-man crew has better protection than in existing Russian tanks. They will be housed in a reinforced chamber, away from the main gun, Russian media report.
Like the way it's gift wrapped. Only two to maintain it though. Do you think there will be a car driving behind it with a platoon of mechanics?
I'll see your robot tanks and raise you a invisible tank.
:D
The trouble with an invisible tank is that it still collects dirt .... #-o
.... but I think I have the perfect counter-weapon ...... Robot Dogs! :>
(Hi, I'm back - you can see I am intrigued with this).
I've since read that there will also be a heavy armoured personnel carrier variant. Robot warriors? Surely not.
P.S. I've been asked to explain myself. Mirror guy. Again. Robot Dogs? Don't really know. Obscure reference to the Nebelwoofers topic, I suppose. I'll try to do better ....
Yeah, the basic chassis is supposed to be used for a family of vehicles. I suspect the turret is still a mock up...
They tried a 3 man tank some years ago, with an automatic loader - apparently it had a habit of trying to stuff the gunner in the breach.
That's T-64 onwards. Training accidents over the last forty years hve been alarmingly heavy...
Comrades,
if you want to watch the parade celebrating the 70th Anniversary of victory over Fascism, it will be live on Russia Today on Saturday morning. That will be in English. I think it will be shown on the internet on Russia channel 1 too. This link:
