Curious. I am receiving emails from Dave Pendraken at LinkedIn asking if I can confirm knowing him. Is this a genuine Pendraken communication?
Me too. It seems to be genuine.
I guess they have let Linked In query their contacts.

Ditto
Me too also as well.
and me
Yep.
Yep.....
But I 'don't do' Linkedin. ;)

Moi aussi.
Me too.
I also don't 'do' linked-in...so I 'unsubscribed' and so far I've not received anything more.
I'm a great fan of 'unsubscribe' and generally telling advertisers where to 'stick it'!
In the best possibly taste of course.
Yep.
Me too!

Might try that then. ;)
Always slightly concerned that 'unsubscribing' might cause the offending site to send even
more crud.
Could have sworn I'd blocked this lot yonks ago anyway...... I'll try again ! ;D ;D

I unsubscribed and deleted my account years ago - unfortunately Linked In is persistent and I still routinely get requests. Essentially on joining or linking the system generates hundreds of 'link me' emails to anyone it thinks vaguely might have a common interest or career path. it does this whether or not you have asked it not to and includes you whether or not you have unsubscribed from the service.
Basically its targeted spam, irritating but not malicious beyond that.
it actually, if you let it, have access to your e-mail to do it for you :)
Apologies to anyone who has received any emails, we got a notification from LinkedIn ourselves, telling us about some 'link' between them and Yahoo, who run our btinternet email account. They've managed to get access to our email contact list and have sent spam emails to a whole load of people from what I can tell. I've gone into Dave's LinkedIn and deleted all contacts, turned off all access and done everything I can to stop the emails, so hopefully it doesn't happen again.
So the gentleman's enhancement product offer is no longer available?
:(

You mean you
don't value the connexion with us? :(
Got two, ignored them both as LinkedIn is one of the most annoying spam ridden conglomerations on the net. Glad it was just an automated spam by LinkedIn though as I did feel a little awkward not responding to Dave but was going to apologise when I spoke to him or Leon.
Should I be offended that I didn't get one despite being on Linkedin? :D
