Hello folks!
My name is Alfred and I have succumbed to the temptation to plunge into the world of 10mm figures. :D
I haven't painted any figures in almost a decade, and previously the smallest scale I had attempted was 15mm. Lurking here and reading people's blogs has given me some confidence that I can paint these... I think it might be easier than 25-28mm. We shall see. 8)
This morning my first Pendraken order arrived in the mail, and I am extremely excited. I have been hankering to build a little 17th century English village and manor house, so I ordered up enough ECW figures to fight some small battles.
The miniatures look amazing! Hardly any flash and only a few pits (nothing that paint won't cover), I hope I can do the sculptor and caster justice. My camera is on the fritz, but I can probably find one once I get these fellows painted up. And now of course that I have these figures, I can properly proportion the buildings for my village. And make trees! I am so excited, hahah, I feel like a very small child given lots of amazing gifts. :-[
Thank you Pendraken!
Alfred
Well, that's 2 of us in Atlantic Canada. And less than 350 miles apart too ;D Why that's less that the distance from London to Glasgow -- but not by much. :'(
Hi Alfred, welcome to the Forum! Pics would be great if you can find a camera! 8)
Welcome to the true scale :)
