Note the helmet of one of Pharaoh's guards.

There may be a fleur-de-lis pattern on the shield. Also note the coloured trim on the tunics of the attendants.

I remember seeing a painting of a huge battle during the mid 18th century Hawiian civil war, I was astonished to see both sides were wearing hoplite helmets albeit not bronze but studded with shells. I wonder ...
